London Home Buyers concerned with looming interest rate rise

London Home Buyers concerned with looming interest rate rise

The inflation rates have been troubling the UK public badly. To top the situation the meager price rise over the past few years has aggravated the situation. The economic turmoil has lead to an increase in the interest rates as well. This has especially hit the homeowners. Homeowners who had mortgaged their home in order to buy it are the ones that are under real threat. An increase in the interest rates means that they are definitely going to experience some crunch in their financial situations. Especially the home owners who have limited source of income are going to feel the heat. The dark cloud of home repossession is going to loom large over their heads.

The increase in interest rates has been due to the latest economic changes that have affected the market after the recession.  The middle income groups are the ones that are going to be affected adversely. In the mist the legal aid from the government has also been cut as a result the increase in the interest rates is going to severely aggravate the problems for the home buyers.

The repossessions due to the increase in the interest rates are likely to go up in the third quarter of the year 2011. Earlier during the recession period the government had ensured that repossession was the last thing the banks would do! But lately the banks are giving no respite to the defaulters who are not able to pay their mortgage amounts in their defined time.
